For centuries, Christians have grown spiritually from studying the Bible together with a group. There are multiple benefits of a group Bible study. The Bible is composed of 66 books that were written by numerous authors over many centuries. To understand the scriptures more fully, it helps to explore information about the author, the original readers, the historical context and Rita’s Reflections the meaning of the original words. The discovery of these backgrounds may be readily gleaned through research on the internet or maybe even from looking at books at a comprehensive library; however, the relevance of these writings become more fully alive when they are discussed with other believers. Furthermore, the meaning and application a scriptural passage has at one point in our lives may take on deeper and greater significance at another point in our lives.
