On the day of the church's Bazaar, I could not help but think of the verse from Psalm 133:1, "How good and pleasant it is when God's people live together in unity!" I always marvel over the contributions of so many people--whether it is their labors of love and skill, or their monetary or physical gifts, or their time and service or simply being a part of it! Our church graciously thanks each person and business for their part in helping to make the Bazaar be an expression of love and giving and unity. We are blessed to receive not only the support of church members but also support from the community and beyond! We hope that all who came also received a blessing by a good buy or by some needed or wanted items for their homes or by the time of fun and fellowship that was afforded to them.
With your support, the church raised close to $22,000 that will be used to help give back to the community and beyond. From previous Bazaar's proceeds, many different people were helped, such as Operation Christmas Child, $500 scholarship to a high school senior, the Kosse Community Center, the Kosse Fire Department, Methodist Children's Home, Mexia State School, Limestone County Foster Children's Christmas, Hurricane Harvey relief, funds for a mission trip, and hunger relief that extends near and around the world. You blessed us and we pray that you were blessed as well as these blessings overflow to help even more people!
